Farewells
Dear Class of 2019,
As a class we have been through so much together. From a different principal almost every year to standing front and center at football games to struggling through end of the year exams. We’ve done it by sticking together and leaning on each other when we needed support. During my time at Page, I have had the opportunity to meet so many incredible people that have impacted my life in ways I never thought possible. I am so lucky to have known you and to have had the amazing opportunity of being Pages by Page’s Editor-in-Chief for the past two years! I am so proud to be a Pirate! When you walk across that stage on June 7th, you are entering a new chapter of your life. This chapter is going to be one full of difficult challenges as well as lots of great memories. Each and every one of you is so special and so deserving of happiness and success. I know all of you are going to do great things whether you go to college, join the armed forces, enter the workforce, or do something entirely different. You have so much potential inside of you and I can’t wait to see what you are going to do with it. Good luck on all of your future endeavors! Always remember that the entire Page community is rooting for you and you will always have a place here!
Thank you for the last four years,
Meagan Gutheil
Editor-in-Chief
To the Class of 2019,

This is just the beginning for us. I have only had the honor of going to school with you all for the past two years, but it feels like I have been here the past two years, but it feels like I have been here a lifetime. Thank you all for the kindness and generosity you have shown not only to me, but the entire school throughout our time at Page. I haven't gotten to know all of you personally, but I know that every single one of you has made an irreplaceable mark on this school, and each of you should be proud of your time here. No matter where the future may take us, remember to always be thankful for the skills and friendships we have developed at Page to prepare us for our journey.

Congratulations and, as always, Page High!

Dear Class of 2019,

The moment you have worked so hard for over the past four years has arrived. I am certain you feel a myriad of emotions. There is bound to be a feeling of pride and accomplishment. Your journey has undoubtedly been full of bumps and bruises, but you have persisted; you have found your way. There is excitement as you look toward next steps, new roads, and the freedom of adulthood. You may be feeling anxious – unsure of what awaits around the next bend or up the next hill. Embrace those feelings. The time has come for you to take what you have learned and embark upon something new, meaningful, and driven by you. Fear not what lies ahead for you have been well prepared. You have scoured the books and stored a plethora of academic concepts. You have failed – and learned how to learn from those failures. You have learned flexibility as your administration continued to change around you. You have learned tenacity and that it matters that you show up. You have learned compassion and love for your Pirate community both in times of great joy and times of great sorrow and loss. You have learned how to support a team, your friends, and your family – even when the odds seem stacked against you. You have learned that while you are independent, you still need help sometimes. You have learned that it’s not the outside appearance that matters, but the measure of what is found within. And you leave Page having learned to Dream Big. You have embraced a building that mirrors the communities in which you will become a staple in. All these lessons will serve you well. I am certain there are incredible opportunities that are lying in wait for you. I eagerly anticipate the accomplishments that we will be able to proudly share with future Pirates who are looking to you to pave the path. It is with a full heart that I send you to find your own way to greatness. Go Pirates and always remember to keep Dreaming Big in all that you do!
